Kushimoto Underwater Park

Kushimoto Underwater Park is the first underwater park district designated in Japan.
The sea of Kushimoto is strongly influenced by the Kuroshio Current, and due to its outstanding transparency and warm water temperature that does not fall below 15 ° C even in winter, colorful tropical fish and fish.
You can enjoy beautiful and rich underwater scenery all year round, including the largest table coral community in Honshu.
The coastal waters of Kushimoto are registered as Ramsar Convention wetlands.
The aquarium displays about 400 species and 4,000 creatures found in the sea of Kushimoto.
The underwater observation tower is 140m offshore, and the inside of the tower can descend to a depth of 6.3m, so the sea of blue and clear coral spreads out on the seabed so that you can see the creatures living in the tropics and subtropics. You can see it.
When you board the Stella Mariss, a semi-diving underwater sightseeing boat, you will visit the coral clusters along with the guide staff's commentary on the underwater.
You can enjoy a underwater walk as if you were diving in the clear blue sea.
